Week 8 Update

Kindergarten Assembly

This week we had the pleasure of having our Kindy class host the assembly. The students did a great job talking and performing in front of a large audience. They also performed beautifully a Chrisitne Anu and Wiggles song - which was very well received, well done Kindies, Mrs Gurner and Mrs Scianno. All of your hard work and effort certainly paid off! Congratulations to all of our final honour certificate winners who were recognised for their ongoing display of our school values. Well done!

Good Standing Reward

Next Thursday, 7 December we will be holding our final Good Standing Reward activity for all of our students who have maintained their Good Standing. On the day, we will be holding a water play day (students can expect to get wet!). On the day, students will need to wear items of clothing that can get wet, such as board shorts, rashies, or bathers. Students may wear their bathers under their uniform or bring a change of clothes to change into it. Please note that all students require a hat on the day to participate.

P&C Raffle

As you would be aware, our dedicated and hard-working P&C Committee have organised an end of year raffle with some amazing prizes available. There is a range of different prizes available, including scooters, a tablet, vouchers, an inflatable pool, and a range of other exciting items. Tickets are $2 each and available from the front office. The raffle will be drawn at our final awards assembly on Wednesday 13 December.

Book Award Assembly

Our end of year assembly will take place on Wednesday 13 December from 9am in the school undercover area. This is an opportunity for classroom and specialist teachers to recognise students who have shown outstanding academic success or significant improvement over the year. Families of students who are receiving awards will be notified and we hope to see you on the day.

School Reports

End of year reports will be provided to families next Friday 8 December. Reports will be made available online via Connect. Hard copies of reports will be sent home with students on Wednesday 13 December.

End of Year

Just a reminder for all of our families that the final day of school for students is Thursday 14 December. Students will return to school on Wednesday 31 January.
